La ruta FAVORITA de Oaxaca. ¡No te la pierdas! Un excelente recorrido en bici para conocer el ANCESTRAL árbol del Tule, el cual es famoso por ser el árbol con el tronco más ancho del mundo. También conoceremos parte del pueblo de Santa María del Tule, su iglesia y el mercado local. Este es un recorrido GUIADO y te proporcionaremos BICI, CASCO y KIT de REPARACIÓN. Nos reuniremos en la ciudad de Oaxaca para de ahí partir con dirección a Santa María del Tule (10 km de ida, aprox. 45 min.) Iremos por una ciclovía con árboles a sus costados que hace el recorrido más agradable. La ruta es plana en su mayoría. Durante el recorrido veremos las afueras de la ciudad, algunos cerros que rodean Oaxaca y campos de cultivo. Llegando a Santa María, iremos directamente a conocer el árbol del Tule, la colorida iglesia del pueblo y sus jardines de flores. Aquí aprenderás datos interesantes sobre estos. Después, tendremos tiempo para visitar el mercado gastronómico para tomar/comer algo. Al finalizar, iniciaremos nuestro recorrido de regreso a Oaxaca. Enjoy the true outdoors with an easy 3/4 - 1 mile private nature hike hosted by a pack of loose, well trained German Shepherd Dogs. The hike starts at our farm in coastal Maine and wanders through a network of trails winding through a natural wild Maine forest. You will be hiking with a large pack of (5 to 12) loose german shepherd dogs of various ages who will want attention along the way! On the walk there are soft forest trails, sometimes mud puddles and slippery footing. Throughout our adventure you will learn tips on hiking with a pack of German Shepherds the way they communicate and what their body language means. Once we return there will be bathroom facilities, snacks and beverages. We will also talk about how we raise and imprint our young shepherds and prepare them as family companions. Your hosts for the nature walk will be either Jennifer, Katie, or both! We began offering pack walks at our open house for our German Shepherd Breeding program, and because of the enthusiasm and popularity, we decided to host this event through Airbnb. Every parrot has a story. You’ll learn all about our rainbow-colored rescues in Kona’s only parrot sanctuary. We’ll start with our mission: to give every displaced parrot a nutritious diet, large space to fly, and a safe place to interact with other parrots (and people). Next, we'll take a walk around the sanctuary, where you can get to know the range of personalities of cockatoos, lovebirds, macaws, and more species. Throughout the tour, you will have many photo opportunities, especially with our well-trained parrots. Other things to note: Wear casual clothes, closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat, and bring a camera. Parrots in Paradise Sanctuary is also home to two rescue dogs, two Holstein cows and two sulcata tortoise. While we like to keep our group sizes small to enhance a personal experience, we are open to hosting larger family/friend groups with more than six individuals.

A Ten Apple Farm goat hike is a two hour recreational and educational goat experience. You'll meet your hosts (and our herd of Alpine dairy goats), and hear about their 16 years of experience with goats and living on a small family farm. Once we've met the goats and the many other animals residents of the farm, we’ll set off on a hike through the Ten Apple Farm woods with the goats and Philip our sheep! The hike consists of an approximately one and a half mile loop trail through our woods on lightly groomed trails. Along the way we’ll talk about goats as pack animals, what they eat, and you’ll learn a thing or two about raising and caring for goats. There's lots of time for interacting with the goats, asking questions, or just soaking in the Maine woods and these adorable, fun animals. We end the experience with fresh goat milk and homemade cookies! Please note: Children must be at least 5 years old and accompanied by an adult. 5 and 6 year olds should plan to hold a parent's hand during the hike. (Children under 4 must be carried). Other things to note: The hike is not strenuous, but there is a little bit of steep terrain in 2 spots. We have rope railings on the trail to assist with getting up and down in those spots, but guests who have bad knees, hips, or other difficulties with uneven or steep terrain should be aware.

Posterior a esto nos trasladaremos a una fabrica de mezcal en donde tendremos una explicación sobre el proceso de elaboración de mezcal en la fabrica para después tener una degustación de los mismos. También visitaras la zona arqueológica en Mitla pueblo mágico. después de conocer la impresionante zona arqueológica y antes de encaminarnos a Hierve el Agua tendremos un "time food" en un buffet de comida tradicional. finalmente nos adentraremos a las comunidades de la montaña para conocer las cascadas petrificadas de hierve el agua. Nos encontraremos en nuestra oficina en la zona centro cerca de Zócalo a las 8:00 (inglés a las 8:00 a. m./ español a las 9:00 a. m.) o podemos recogerte en tu alojamiento si estas cerca del centro de la ciudad o en algún lugar intermedio (si está disponible ), Una vez que nuestro grupo esté listo nuestro transporte (depende del tamaño del grupo) nos llevará al sitio arqueológico de Monte Alban(a 30 minutos de la ciudad aprox), uno de los sitios arqueológicos más importantes de México, y con una de las vistas más hermosas de Oaxaca. Haremos una visita guiada (1-1.30 horas, a veces 2 horas si tienes muchas preguntas ), compartiendo lo que más nos gusta del lugar, la historia y las pirámides y museo Y después de la visita guiada tendrás tiempo libre para explorar y disfrutar del sitio. (Mínimo de 1 hora, si quieres quedarte más tiempo , puedes tomar nuestro transporte colectivo a la ciudad cada hora , no dudes en ponerte en contacto con nosotros para compartir más información al respecto ). Al final del recorrido volveremos a la ciudad y los dejaremos en la plaza principal de la ciudad de Oaxaca o zocalo

La ruta FAVORITA de Oaxaca. ¡No te la pierdas! Un excelente recorrido en bici para conocer el ANCESTRAL árbol del Tule, el cual es famoso por ser el árbol con el tronco más ancho del mundo. También conoceremos parte del pueblo de Santa María del Tule, su iglesia y el mercado local. Este es un recorrido GUIADO y te proporcionaremos BICI, CASCO y KIT de REPARACIÓN. Nos reuniremos en la ciudad de Oaxaca para de ahí partir con dirección a Santa María del Tule (10 km de ida, aprox. 45 min.) Iremos por una ciclovía con árboles a sus costados que hace el recorrido más agradable. La ruta es plana en su mayoría. Durante el recorrido veremos las afueras de la ciudad, algunos cerros que rodean Oaxaca y campos de cultivo. Llegando a Santa María, iremos directamente a conocer el árbol del Tule, la colorida iglesia del pueblo y sus jardines de flores. Aquí aprenderás datos interesantes sobre estos. Después, tendremos tiempo para visitar el mercado gastronómico para tomar/comer algo. Al finalizar, iniciaremos nuestro recorrido de regreso a Oaxaca. REQUISITOS: - Saber andar en bici (ruta fácil / plana, 20 KM TOTAL) - Estatura mínima 1.53 mts.
