You’ll be welcome in my historical house in the centre of Milan with an amazing view over the city from a terrace luxuriant of flowers and trees. You’ll eat the delicious dishes you prepared: pasta, ravioli, tiramisù that come with an excellent wine and limoncello prepared with my own terrace’s lemons. I will reveal you all the secrets about tagliatelle and the famous ravioli so that you will go back home as an authentic Italian chef. THIS IS NOT A CONVENTIONAL COOKING CLASS: of course you'll learn a lot about pasta but you'll be welcomed into my family like old friends for a traditional Italian meal, cooking all together while sharing our different stories. Ravioli, spaghetti, tagliatelle or other typical kinds of pasta will be on the menu: the masterpiece of Italian cooking history. And, why not, we'll also prepare our "secret" tiramisù with chocolate. Together, we will explore some of the most incredible areas of Milan, capturing unique and creative images for you. This experience is perfect for solo travelers or couples seeking a professional and hassle-free photo session. Throughout our journey, you will have the opportunity to discover some of my favorite places, as well as fascinating secrets in the heart of downtown Milan. Within 3-4 days of our session, you will receive the carefully edited photos via WETRANSFER. The guaranteed minimum delivery is 40 photos, but I usually send all those that meet excellent quality standards. If you can't find the ideal date or time in my calendar, feel free to contact me. This is a friendly cooking experience. You'll be welcomed into a typical Italian home for a traditional meal with a local, where you'll learn how to make Sicilian and Northern Italian homemade pasta. I'll share with you my grandmother and my family's secrets for easily preparing delicious homemade pasta: Sicilian (rigatoni or busiate), tortelli, tagliatelle or other typical kinds of homemade pasta with wheat flour (with gluten and eggs or water). And, Dulcis in fundo (last but not least), we will make my special tiramisù with Sicilian ingredients. A unique and unforgettable experience to explore the most sensational and unexpected places in Milan with my vintage Fiat 500 car from 1971. All in pleasant company and with tons of fabulous photos! During this fantastic journey, we'll discover charming streets and neighbourhoods of the city centre where I grew up, and you will have the chance to admire both iconic and hidden gems through to the cute sunroof of the car. I will introduce you to "my" Milano, in the way I experienced it until now, and we will have so much fun and spontaneous conversations along the way. We will start your food journey in the Brera neighborhood, one of Milan’s hippest area. We will cross narrow and intimate streets of this hystorical and artistic area. We will have a tour of the court of Pinacoteca di Brera (fine art gallery) where I will talk you some true secrets of the place and some interesting curiosity about the lovely Braidense Library dated 1770. Then, slowly we will see some other nice views on the way. After this warming walk, you will be ready to sample local delicacies such as focaccia, pizza, Venetian snack or ham and cheese with a glass of wine… and get their history as well ! And after the savoury snacks.....of course yes, a great gelato italiano - probably the best you ever had! And if you are not full, another couple of sweet treats!
